ALOHA

You're Among Friends

Aloha! Welcome to Grace Baptist Church.

We are a congregation of believers committed to sharing the message of Christ and guiding others towards faith in Him. As a church, we aim to love those in our community with the same love Christ has given to us. The work of our church is aimed at directing others towards the Savior in the hopes that they will encounter the one true God and be transformed by His gracious love for them. Through all we do, say, and preach, we pray that we will shine the light of Christ to all those we encounter.

We are a thriving, Christ-centered church committed to reaching the lost and making disciples both in our community and around the world.
When are your service times?

Sunday School– 9:00am
Morning Worship – 10:15am
Evening Worship – 6:00pm

Wednesday Evening:
Bible Study & Prayer Meeting - 6:30pm

Where do I park?
We have a large amount of parking at our facility. The row right out front of the building is intentionally left empty by our members. If you are our guest, kupuna, or have health needs please use this area. It is our joy to have you visit with us.
What about my keiki (kids)?
At every service we endeavor to meet the needs of our members and visitors. On Sunday mornings we have a fully staffed nursery and Jr. Church program. On Sunday evening our pastor presents a message that meets the needs of the whole family (so children can stay in). During our Sunday evening program our Teen program is underway. On Wednesday evenings, we have a Bible Study and prayer time and our Youth Minister and his wife have a children's program.

What are services like?
We are a conservative, traditional, fundamental Baptist church. The emphasis of GBC is on the teaching of the Bible. Our music is traditional (using both hymns and praise choruses). The preaching is clear and expository (practical verse-by-verse). We gather Sunday School- 9am, Worship- 10:15am, Evening- 6pm to share testimonies and study God's Word verse-by-verse in another book of the Bible. On Wednesday at 6:30pm, we meet to pray together and have a Bible study. Pastor Don preaches from the KJV.
What should I wear?
Aloha Dress is the normal attire at Grace. We want you to feel welcome while you are visiting, so wear what makes you most comfortable. You can dress up or dress down, either way is totally acceptable. We are just glad to have you visit us and get to know the Lord.

What do I do when I get inside the church?
You will be greeted by one of our friendly hosts who will be happy to direct you to seating, or find a classroom for your children or nursery for the little ones. They will also point out where the restrooms and water fountains are located if you should need them. There is coffee and refreshments in the kitchen you are welcome to as well.

Do you have Bible study classes for me?
Yes! We feature wonderful Adult Bible Fellowship classes in a relational setting during our 9:00 Sunday morning hour. In addition, we have Bible Study on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm.

Other Questions:
If there is something we missed on this list, give us a call or ask someone when you arrive. Pastor Don is always available for all those interested in learning more about our ministry. Whether you're new to the area and looking for a church, or if it's been a long time since you attended church, we hope your visit at Grace Baptist Church will be a place where you feel welcomed and at home. This church really is one great big ohana.
